Chinoiseries: wrapper loose and with dog ears and a small paper loss to a corner. The back cover with a large stain. Title page foxed. Light foxing throughout. Grand Album de Caricatures: wrapper with paper loss to two corners and a few tears. A couple of leaves with small paper losses to the corners outside the image areas. Slight browning and a few creases.
Two caricature albums by Charles Amédée de Noé (1818 - 1879), also called Cham. He was a very prolific caricaturist and was for many years a staff member of the famous french newspaper Le Charivari.
