New cloth binding. Gilt title and decorations to spine. Marbled end papers. Swedish title, contents, one plate and two text pages repaired with tape in outer margins. One plate and a couple of leaves with small tear in the margin. Some text pages browned and a few with offsetting from the plates. A few pages with the occasional brown spot. One plate lightly foxed. Some finger staining in the lower margins to some pages and plates. Clean copy.
Swedish kings, queens and other famous contemporaries. Gustavus I to Carl XV. A regular swedish book of fame encompassing four hundred years. Several portraits and historic scenes to each plate. All within an elaborate framework.
