Contemporary blind stamped cloth. Front board and spine richly decorated in gilt. Gilt edges. Worn at edges and corners. Decoration somewhat faded. Spine starting to crack Binding somewhat loose. Lithographed title almost loose. One plate loose. 4 or 5 smal spots in the margins. Interior nice and clean.
This is the ninth yearly issue of the German art-album "Deutsches Künstler-Album". Among other things the plates shows folkloristic, romantic, landscape, every-day and military scenes. The text seems to consist of poetry and short stories.
