Contemporary red blind pressed cloth. Title and a view of the castle in gilt at the front board. Rebacked. Worn board edges. A few small stains and scratches to the boards. Title and plates very clean. Some guard papers creased and frayed.
An album depicting the interiors and two exteriors at the Royal Palace of Ulriksdal, just outside Stockholm. It was published one year after the death of Billmark, and became his last work. Billmark was first educated at Christian Forssell´s engraving academy in Stockholm and then continued his education and work in Paris, where he lived most of his life. He was one of Sweden´s finest artists.
