Two coffee table books of the same serie which probably are the only two albums which were published. The first album of 1872 has an interesting mix of portraits, views, caricatures and genre pictures. All the 18 plates comes with a short story. In some cases very short. It is not recorded by Lundstedt. The second album of 1873 has images of statues and royalties, a landscape view, a poor child, a ruin, a historic scene, a wounded soldier etc. It also comes with short stories. It is recorded as missing at the Royal Library by Lundstedt. (None of the albums are present in the data base of the Royal Library). This work is one of many attempts to create a lithographic periodical in the 1800s. The most well known is "Lithografiskt Allehanda" which was published 1859-1865. But many other publications were tried in the market place whithout much success. At least two more albums were published under the same name as the present work,, without any connection to each other. One in 1830 with contributions by, among others, Anckarswärd, Shcützercrantz, Hamilton and Billmark. another album was published in 1836 by Wahlbom, containing six plates. The present work is rare.
