An early guide book on Stockholm describing the history, geography, climate, the layout of the city and the Royal Castle. A large part of the book lists the items in Kongl Museet (The National Museum). Lars August Ekmark was a publicist and the brother of the book printer Carl Erik Ekmarck. Carl Gustaf Lundgren was a very prolific and skilled engraver during the early decades of the 19th century, when lithography arrived he fell on hard times and threw himself to his death in Norrström in central Stockholm. But his work lives on.
