Large margins. A couple of stains to the margins. Some creases. Nice and clean image.
A plate published for Hjalmar Mörners "Reseminnen från Tyskland, Frankrike och Italien". A very lively and charming collection of images depicting Europe in the early 19th century. Hjalmar Mörner was an artist as well as a count and an officer. He published several fine plate books in Sweden, Italy and England. In Italy Mörner spent twelve years, where he among other things created his most famous work "Carnevale di Roma". He published "Reseminnen" when he returned to Sweden. The plates were printed by the leading llithographic print press in the country, Gjöthström & Magnusson in Stockholm.
