Many small creases. A short tear in the left margin.

Italian peasants taking a rest along the road between Rome and Naples. A charming plate in original hand colouring. The plate was published for the work "Reseminnen från Tyskland, Frankrike och Italien" a travel account of France, Italy and Germany. Mörner was an artist, a nobleman and an officer. He published several fine plate books in Sweden, Italy and England and spent twelve years in Italy, where he created his most famous work "Carnevale di Roma".
