Original brown wrapper with printed title at the front cover. Torn and frayed wrapper. Back cover loose. Some fraying to the outer margins of the text pages. Creased guard paper. Plate in fine condition.
A fine view of the estate Nyboholm, with text description. It was published for "Uplands Herregårdar" (60 plates and text issued in parts between 1877 and 1881). Each part contained three plates. For the estate owners it was possible to order separate issues containig their own estate only. This is such a copy. Uplands Herregårdar depicts estates of the district of Uppland just north of Stockholm. The district has always been one of the richest in Sweden, and subsequently has many fine estates. The lithographs were executed by Alexander Nay, some after his own drawings.
