Publish´d March 1 st. 1784 by John Boydell. Engraver in Cheapside London. Ca 1800. Plate mark 38 x 48 cm. Paper size 43,5 x 56 cm. Etching and engraving.

A couple of insignificant spots in the margins. Nice condition.

"Landscape with cattle lying in the foreground, two shepherds and a boy on a bank behind, one gesturing away to left, towards a broad river, with several sailing ships"(British Museum). The text below the caption reads "From the original picture of the same size in the collection of His Grace the Duke of Rutland". Engraved by Daniel Lerpiniere (1745- 1785) after an original by Aelbert Cuyp (1620- 1691). Here he calls himself Adrian, one of his many aliases.
