James Earl of Morton was Regent of Scotland during the minority of king James. Engraved in Amsterdam by Jacobus Houbraken one of the greatest engravers of all times. Published in the work "The heads of illustrous people of Great Britain" 1743-1752 by John and Paul Knapton in London.
