A Paris chez Huquier vis a vis le grand Chatelet. Mid 18th. century. Cut just inside the plate mark. The whole sheet 41,5 x 28,5 cm.

Nice condition.

The plate depicts the great Phllips Wouwerman the dutch landscape, battle and hunting painter. He was a prolific artist and highly influential on the dutch 17th. century art scene. The french engraver Nicolas Gabriel Dupuis executed the plate after an original by Cornelis de Vischer.
