About 1700. Plate mark 43 x 57 cm. The whole sheet 53,5 x 63,5 cm. Original hand colouring. No text at the back. Engraving. No text at the back.

"Hollande Meridionale" in manuscript in the top margin. The fold split in the lower margin and 3 cm into the map area. A very small hole at the fold just above the blank margin. A few creases and brown spots to the margins.

A beautiful map of Holland depicting a maze of canals and roads criss crossing the landscape. To the north we can see Amsterdam and the Zuyder Zee and to the south the Rhein delta with Rotterdam. The carthographer is not known to me.
