[Lithographic printing stone]

[The stone is blank]

No year. 32 x 24,5 x 5 cm.The stone has the number "1586" on one of the short edges. There is text on the top made by a marker pen "Tillhör Förrådet 15/=70 E. G.". 10,6 kg.

A couple of chippings to the edge of the surface. Some dirt and stains to the surface and the sides.

Printing stones such as this are quite a rare find. Obviously this stone has been used several times and had its motifs shaved down successively. The blank surface and the marker pen text shows that it was kept in storage waiting for a new image to be drawn on it, but this neve happend. [There will be extra postage for international customers because of the heavy weight of the stone].
