[Calling Card Holder]

Mid 19th. century.

7 x 10 cm.

A few beads are missing along the edges. Very small pieces of gilt paper missing. Slight wear to the inside.

A calling card holder that opens from either side. The covers are decorated with coloured beads in an intricate design. The edge is decorated with patterned gilt paper. The inside is covered in silk with bands to hold the cards. It contains two contemporary cards with gratulations from Anna Hesselgren. A quite delightful item.
