Ca.1850. Oblong 4:o. 23 x 29 cm. 14 engraved maps handcoloured in outline. No title.

Half calf. Marbled board papers. A bit worn binding. Paper somewhat browned. The odd stain and very short tears to the margins. The last map with some stains in the map area.

Some of the maps seems to be clones of Justus Perthes atlas Ortbis Terrarum Antiquus. We see the usual maps of the roman and greek worlds, Egypt, Babylon, Assyria India, Arabia, Palestine etc.
