Stockholm. 1810. Plate mark 50 x 40 cm. The whole sheet 64 x 60 cm. Engraving on laid paper.

A couple of tears to the margins. A little paper residue from a former paper tab in the left margin. A discreet crease across from left to right.

Here we have the title leaf to the atlas "Geografiske Kartor öfver Swerige" published by Samuel Gustav Hermelin 1796-1818. There are three different editions of the title leaf : 1799, 1805 and 1810. Each edition with more maps added. The atlas was the first comprehensive mapping of Sweden and Finland.
