Some creases. A large brown stain in the right margin. A small brown stain in the lower margin.
A chaotic scene on the road from the races with a carriage roling over into the ditch. Mörner, a swedish artist and noble man lived in Italy in the 1820s, where he among other things published his most famous work "Il Carnevale di Roma". In the early 1830s he stayed in London where he published two caricature albums "Humorous Sketches" and "Miscellaneous Sketches of Contrasts". The present plate is from the first of these two works. Printed on Whatman paper. An uncommon plate.
