An elevation map covering Gästrikland up to Enånger, eastern Dalecarlia and northern Uppland, For hundreds of years map makers struggled to make heights on maps clear and distinct. It proved to be quite hard, most attempts looked confusing and strange. Here we have an example of a very successfull outcome. The map gives a clear and elegant perception of the topography.
