One of the oldest churches in the country. The first on this site was erected during the viking era in the 9th century. The earliest traces of christianity in Sweden is found on this location. Published for the work "Svenska Vuer", an abridged edition of the great work "Pittoresk resetour från Stockholm till Neapel". Billmark arrived in Paris as a young man and lived there for most of his life, working with the best artists and craftsmen of the time. He produced several lithographic albums of high quality, some depicting european sceneries and some sceneries of his native country. One of the best in his profession. Uncommon.
