A tear in the upper margin and just into the plate area. A couple of short tears in the margins. Some creases.

A fine view of Blackrock Castle before the fire of 1827. The castle was built on the River Lee in Ireland in 1582 to protect the harbour of Corck from pirates and marauders. It was commissioned by Queen Elisabeth. Executed by John William Edy after an original by the irish landscape painter Thomas Roberts and his brother Thomas Sautelle Roberts.
