A view of the Gothia Canal (Göta Kanal) and Söderköping in the province of Östergötland in Sweden. Published for the work "Svenska Vuer", an abridged edition of the great work "Pittoresk resetour från Stockholm till Neapel". The swedish artist Carl Johan Billmark arrived in Paris as a young man and lived there for most of his life, working with the best artists and craftsmen of the time. He produced several lithographic albums of high quality, some depicting european sceneries and some sceneries of his native country. He was one of the best in his profession.
