Plate 113. 1830s. 36,5 x 27 cm. Hand coloured lithograph.

About one cm of the lower margin browned. A couple of corner folds and a very short tear.

A skua. Published for the zoological plate book "Illuminerade figurer" by Sven Nilsson, issued in parts 1829-1840, The plate was lithographed by Magnus Körner. A very rare issue on large paper, only 50 copies were published according to "Sveriges Zoologiska Litteratur" by Björn Dal.
