Very broad margins. A few creases and minor tears to the margins.
From a serie of ten plates depicting order- and court costumes decreed by Gustavus III. The originals by Aleander are stored at the University Library in Uppsala. Johan Fredrik and his brother Elias spent many in years in London and were heavily influenced by the english art ideals of the late 18th century. Their high quality work is always in demand among collectors.
