Lithochrome printing is an early form of lithographic colour printing. Salmson pioneered colour printing in Sweden. Salmson and C. F. Ström opened a lithographic printing business in 1847. In1851 the companionship ended and Salmson continued by himself. In the early 1860s he had to leave the country because of financial problems. He settled in the USA. Scarce.
