Queen Christina of Sweden (1626- 1689). Designed by Charles Auguste van den Berghe (1798- 1853) after an original by Sebastien Bourdon (1616- 1671). Engraved by Alexander Tardieu (1756- 1844). The text below the captions is a description of the career of Bourdon and his travel to Sweden where he portraied the queen.
