Greenish original printed wrapper with title inside decorative border. Wonderful uncut plates and text sheets with large margins. Spine of the wrapper partly split. Some browning and a few stains to the margins of the first text leaf and the first and last plate. Strong early plate impressions.
Four plates with text to the district of Skåne in the rare original wrapper. It forms a part of the great topographical work "Fordna och närvarande Sverige" (Ancient and present Sweden) which was published 1817-1868 in 12 parts containing 367 plates in all. Besides "Suecia Antiqua et Hodierna" of 1715, the most ambitious topographical work ever published in Sweden. The plates depicts the estates: Hammar, Gylleboa (second part. The first part containing one plate and one text leaf was published in part III). Wanås (First part. The second part containing one plate and one text leaf was published in part VI) and the sceneries Stora Mölla / Halle Möllor.
