Brown cloth. Gilt title at the spine. Marbled edges. A few plates with some stains to the margins. Six plates with a few very small dots at the image area. About ten text leaves with a few discreet spots. A very nice and clean copy.
Wonderful color lithographs depicting industrial enterprises around Sweden in the 1870s. Everything looks pastoral and inviting. The industries are small and well adjusted to the landscape, often at a stream, Smoke pouring out of small chimney´s, not obscuring a welcoming environment. People going about their business.
