Some tears and creases to the margins and separations at the folds. A couple of small holes and very small losses to the margins.
A map depicting the area of the Austro-Prussian war of 1866 Between Austria and the German Confederation on one side and Prussia, some german states and Italy on the other. Prussia won the war and established itself as the dominant german power. Above and below the map we find wood cuts of the armies of Prussia, Saxony, Austria and Hanover as well as the italian king Victor Emanuel and and his prime minister. There is a legend in the lower left corner of the map listing 24 different countries and territories, each one is probably supposed to have a colour code, but no colour is present. The map was published by the french newspaper L´Illustration.
